Cindy Wildman, Cleveland, Ohio, 69 years young.

Cindy started running in 2007. She has completed 30 full marathons, 50 half marathons, a 50 miler on her 65th Birthday, and many Sprint Triathlons. Triathlons are her cross-training.

Cindy has completed New York (2017), Chicago (2018), and Berlin (2019), and onto London, with hopes of completing all 6 Abbott World Marathon Majors.

Other then racing, Cindy's true passion is time spent with her hubby, her kiddos, but mostly her grand kiddos.

Cindy is so very grateful that dreams do come true with the right pair of running shoes.

Cindy looks forward to meeting everyone in London, She will have the glass running slippers on and the Cinderella tutu.

London will be Todd's 7th marathon and his 3rd World Major. It will also be Todd's first international race.

Maya is from Chicago, and she just started running in 2022. Since then, she has run 4 marathons, and this London marathon will be her 5th marathon (as well as her 1st international race). This will also be her 2nd Abbott World Marathon Major (Chicago was completed in Oct 2023).

In 2013, Don moved to Chicago and joined Chicago Endurance Sports to train for his first marathon. He fell in love with the city and the running community. Since then, Don has trained for several marathons, triathlons, and he's a "one and done" full Ironman (Wisconsin, 2015).

Don is definitely in this for fun - he generally prefers a good laugh over a PR which is good, because London will be a struggle for him (injured/no running until August). If anyone is looking to grab a beer or touch base- feel free to look him up.

Dorathy lives in Tustin, California. She was a non-athlete and non-runner for most of her life. In 2019, she decided to try running for health and fitness. She made a goal to "Run until I liked it!" and she's happy to say it was a great decision. Dorathy has since run multiple half marathons and completed 3 marathons. The London Marathon will be her 4th marathon and her first one out of the country. "I love running!"

Aisha began her running journey in 2012 when she joined the local chapter of Black Girls Run (BGR), completing her first 8K race. Less than a year later, she trained for and finished her first half marathon, the Nike Women’s Half Marathon in 2013. Her passion for running quickly grew, and by 2014, she had completed her first full marathon at the 39th annual Marine Corps Marathon.

In 2016, Aisha became an RRCA Certified Adult Long Distance Running Coach and is currently working towards her RRCA Race Director Certification. To date, she has completed 8 marathons, 13 half marathons, and numerous duathlons, 10-milers, 15Ks, 10Ks, 8Ks, and 5Ks. Her personal goal is to complete all six (original) World Marathon Majors by her 50th birthday ((#1 Chicago, #2 Berlin and #3 NYC).

Steve is on track to run his 4th marathon with London 2021 after running NYC in 2017, Chicago in 2018, and Berlin in 2019. He hopes to run all 6 of the world majors and see where else his running challenges take him.

He’s on a quest to break a 4 hour marathon with his best time currently at 4:28.

He’s a new Dad to baby boy Jack and can’t wait to take the family to London this year.

Juan Carlos Zapata, hailing from Guatemala City, discovered his passion for running in 2022 alongside his wife, Marina. As a transformative experience, running has become an integral part of his life. A prominent leader in Guatemala’s private sector, he serves as the CEO of the Foundation for the Development of Guatemala (FUNDESA). For Juan Carlos, running is not only a source of stress relief but also an opportunity to connect with people and immerse himself in diverse cultures.

His ambition is to complete all seven Abbott World Marathon Majors. So far, he has completed New York and Chicago, with London marking his third. Looking ahead, he plans to take on Berlin and continue his journey of personal growth, forming new friendships, and embracing the spirit of progress through running.

A long-time resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Laura started running in mid-2016 and made her debut at the 2016 San Jose RNR Half Marathon. She ran her first marathon at the 2021 California International Marathon and qualified for Boston, NYC, and Chicago. She then ran her first major in 2022 in NYC, which set her on the path to becoming a six-star finisher. In 2023, she ran Boston, Berlin, and Chicago, and even qualified for Boston again at the 2023 Berlin Marathon. She is looking forward to running Boston again in 2025. The 2024 London Marathon would be her either sixth (if she is lucky 🍀 🤞) or fifth star.

Samantha lives in Chicago and began running in 2014, which was supposed to be a “one and done” race (Chase Corporate Challenge). Fast forward to 2025, she has completed countless races including 114 half marathons (in 25 states and Canada) and 10 marathons on 3 continents (7 Chicago, 2 London, 1 Sydney). This will be her 3^rd London Marathon (if she crosses the finish line) and remains her 2^nd World Major Marathon. She’s also scheduled to run Sydney, Berlin, Chicago and Amsterdam in 2025.

Sara's love for running began when she ran her first race, The Chicago Shamrock Shuffle 8k in 2010. She was amazed by the encouraging running community and how she could push her body to what she thought was its limit.

Sara has since, been so fortunate to run The Chicago, New York, Berlin, and Disney Marathons. The TCS London Marathon will mark her 8th overall marathon, 4 out of 6 of the Abbott World Marathon Majors.

Running has become a consistent part of her life, which she shares with those around her. As a special education teacher, Sara incorporates running games in her daily lessons, she coaches the Running Buddies Club after school at her elementary school in Brooklyn, NY., and she's fortunate to have been able to run a marathon with her husband, brother, sister and brother-in-law! Sara is a member of the Grand Army Pacers and the Brooklyn Triathlon Club who have been immensely helpful in providing opportunities to learn, encourage and build the skills and confidence necessary to set goals. She feels so grateful that despite her health concerns in the past, she has been able to return to running and she has the support of her husband, Bill, her mom-who traveled to be there for every marathon- and her friends and family.
