Add-on Package:
On Saturday, April 26th, enjoy a morning visit to the Expo, followed by an afternoon city tour, and cap off the day with a buffet dinner in the evening. The add-on package is available for $199 per person. Children under 12 years old can enjoy these activities free of charge.

All of the 5 hotels are located in central London, within walking distance from the marathon finish area, and with easy access to train stations (Runbuk crew will assist you to get to marathon start via free trains on Sunday morning).
The Luxury 5* Corinthia Hotel London is renowned as one of the best hotels in London. It is located in the city center, just a few minutes’ walk from the finish line of London marathon. It is highly favored by celebrities and business executives, and even featured in a BBC documentary. The hotel has also appeared in international films, including the James Bond movie “Skyfall” in 2012, where Daniel Craig stood at the hotel’s rooftop pinnacle, the opening scene of Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” in 2016, as well as the 2018 movie Red Sparrow.
The guest rooms have décor blending the hotel’s 1885 character with amenities, approximate 340 square feet. The hotel boasts six restaurants and bars, including the Michelin-starred restaurant in London by renowned chef Thomas Kitchin.

Our 2025 London Marathon packages include the following services:
- Guaranteed entry of the 2025 TCS London Marathon for runners (no entry for companions).
- Three nights hotel stay including tax and daily buffet breakfast, shared twin rooms basis unless Single Room is selected. Check-in is on Friday April 25, 2025; check-out is on Monday April 28, 2025.
- Hotels are subject to change but standards and locations will remain the same or similar.
- Assistance from Runbuk crew during the marathon weekend.
What's not included:
- Travel insurance is not included, and should be obtained on your own separately. We highly recommend it since the packages are non-refundable.
- Flights to arrive or depart London, or airport transfers.
- Personal expenses, and other service not specified as included.
- Saturday Add-on: Expo, Tour, Dinner: this is optional at a surcharge of $199. Kids under 12-year old are free with paid adults.
Airfare to London is very affordable; for example, a non-stop flight from San Francisco to London is currently $650–$720 round trip. You can track price changes using online tools, e.g., http://flights.google.com/, but when booking flights, it's recommended to book directly with the airlines.
If you're wondering which London airport to fly to, when you search for flights, simply enter "London - all airports" as your destination. This search will display all available flights, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your needs. Heathrow Airport primarily handles international flights, while the smaller Gatwick Airport also serves some European destinations. There are convenient transportation options connecting London with both airports, and we will provide airport transportation options in the Runbuk Handbook, which will be sent to all Runbuk runners later on.
The London Marathon package is nonrefundable. We can try to help you find a replacement runner to take your spot if you can’t travel, but sometimes it’s simply impossible, for example, when we don’t have a waitlist, or when you inform us with a very short notice, or the registration deadline has passed – in these cases, your package and payment would be lost completely.
Travel insurance will bring peace of mind at a small cost. We recommend WorldTrips; if you add Adventure Sports wit a minimal fee, the policy waives the extreme sports exclusion like marathon running, in addition to the general benefits.

Q: Am I guaranteed an entry after booking with Runbuk?
A: Yes, your entry is guaranteed.
Q: How can I be sure my entry is guaranteed?
A: Runbuk is one of the official tour operators, which you can verify on the London Marathon website.
Q: If my partner/friend and I are both running, how do we book?
A: In that case, you and your partner/friend need to book separately using your own emails. Please leave a note on the checkout page indicating who you want to share a room with and whether you prefer one large bed or two twin beds in the room.
Q: Do I still need to fill out the official registration form?
A: Yes, you will need to submit the official form. We will email you the link later.
Q: Is there an additional registration fee after booking with Runbuk?

Q: Is travel insurance included in the package?

Q: Can I get a refund or defer my entry if I can't travel?

Q: When should I book my flights to London?
A: You can book your flights after you have secured your package with Runbuk. The best airfares are typically available between 6 to 3 months before the travel date. We recommend using Google Flights to monitor fare changes.
Q: Can I book additional nights with Runbuk?
A: Yes, you can. Once your travel plans are finalized, please let us know your requirements and we'll assist with booking additional nights.

144-hour Visa-free Transit Policy
You do not have to have a Chinese visa to run Shanghai Marathon. You can stay in Shanghai for up to 6 days if meet all of the following three conditions:
A. You are passport holder of one of the following 53 countries:
Albania, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America.
B. You have valid air tickets with confirmed seat in the next 144 hours to the third country or region.
➢ The 144-hour period starts to count at 00:00 the next day upon your arrival in China. Technically this makes your actual stay longer than 144 hours.
➢ You must fly out of China to the third country or region, not where you come from. Technically, if you are flying back to the same place where you are from, you should book your return flights with a stop in a third country/region.
C. You enter China via one of the following ports of entry, and your port of departure is any of the following (it does not have to be the same as port of entry):

Chinese visa
If you do not meet the above conditions, or if you wish to travel to China with a valid visa, you should apply for the Chinese visa in the nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate General (a full list can be found here).
For ordinary passport holders of Singapore, Brunei and Japan, you are exempt from the visa if you visit the mainland of China for tourism, business, or visiting friends and relatives, and stay no longer than 15 days. A visa is required for any tour longer than 15 days.
American, Canadian and Australian passport holders can get multiple-entry Chinese visas valid for 10 years. In order to qualify for 10 year visas, the passport holders must have more than 1 year validity remaining on their passport. Once a 10-year visa has been issued, the validity of the visa does not expire if the holder renews his/her passport. The visa holder can travel carrying the old passport with valid Chinese visa along with the new passport.
